[Hidden-tech] What to do with DVD-R

guess I wasn't clear enough

The DVD-R came from a local TV station who tapped the venue - they
appear to be quality media and burned
I might be able to dig into station staff to find out who and how they
burned them.

The drives I tried them on (tried a number) all say either 'Wrong type'
(TV with built in drive) or show no content (computers > 1)
Which I thought was the issue, however it happened on too many of them.
