*Senior Vice President, Information Technology*

Way Finders is a mission-oriented, nonprofit organization offering a

and the desire to make a difference. *Way Finders currently has an exciting
opportunity for an experienced IT leader. *The Senior Vice President of
Information technology directs the organization’s information technology
and workplace facilities activities including systems analysis, IT support
systems, cyber security, space configuration, data analysis, and
peripherals. The SVP manages the relationship between IT and other
functional areas of the organization. The SVP will establish short and
long-term plans for the acquisition and deployment of new equipment and
technologies that will facilitate the achievement of organizational goals
and objectives. The SVP leads a team of 4, and supports over 300 users
throughout Hampden and Hampshire counties.

*Responsibilities Include:*

   - Research equipment and software needs and negotiate contracts with
   consultants, technical personnel and vendors for products and services as
   appropriate.
   - Prepares, implement, and executes IT budget.
   - Responsible for the oversight of the Facilities Manager who is
   responsible for space planning for all Way Finders’ offices.
   - Manage the integration and determine the highest use of all
   organization databases and software programs.
   - Direct the development and production of information technology and
   reporting.
   - Develop system performance standards to provide quality and timely
   service in support of the organizational mission.
   - Develop strategies to produce quality reporting and efficiency of all
   financial and administrative data.
   - Consult with and advise senior management in data analysis,
   recordkeeping, and reporting requirements to determine the most effective
   data management systems for the organization.
   - Develop and execute IT production activities and reporting systems to
   produce quality information and ensure the security and integrity of all
   data.
   - Maintain inventory of computer equipment, software, and relevant
   licenses.
   - Oversee and manage office logistics in terms of systems and office
   space requirements.
   - Monitor system performance in support of established policies and
   procedures.
   - Supervise, direct and support IT department in the operation and
   maintenance of computer equipment and software applications.
   - Manage department control of network, backup, storage, and retrieval
   functions.
   - Assess department training needs and oversee IT training programs
   ensuring the appropriateness of training to end users.
   - Develop, monitor, and ensure the implementation of effective policies
   and processes including storage systems, back-up capability, data accuracy,
   and network security.
   - Maintain and ensure legal and regulatory compliance of IT systems.
   - Develop, maintain, implement, and monitor the application and
   effectiveness of disaster recovery system and plan.
   - Provide timely and accurate performance feedback to staff.  Identify
   performances areas requiring development or improvement.  Implement
   appropriate corrective action.

*Requirements Include:*

   - Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or
   related field (or the equivalent combination of education and experience).
   - Minimum 7 years’ related professional experience including a minimum
   of 5 years within an IT leadership capacity.
   - Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
   - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
   - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
   - Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
   - Thorough understanding of IT policies and procedures.
   - Thorough understanding of, or the ability to quickly master technology
   used in the organization.
   - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, including
   Microsoft 365.
   - Commitment to Way Finders' mission.

Wage between $99,000 - $120,000 depending on qualifications, plus excellent
