[Hidden-tech] Website Domain Question

I forgot to mention https://enom.com which is now owned by
https://tucows.com although they are more targeted toward resellers.

Hi Ed,

So transferring is usually pretty easy - the domain needs to be unlocked
and you need the authorization code/domain secret from the originating
registrar, and then find the "Domain Transfer" section of the registrar
you want to move to and follow the instructions, enter the authcode
along with the domain name along with your information. An approval
email will be sent to the main contact for the domain, that needs to be
approved (typically clicking a link in the email and maybe clicking a
button after that). Depending on the registrars, it's usually
transferred in about a week.

If you have a bunch of domains to transfer, a lot of registrars have a
"bulk transfer" option where you can enter all your domains and their
authcodes at once.

Does that answer your question?

Sam
