[Hidden-tech] * * * saving text conversation for court case * * *

Hi folks,

Does anyone know a *proven* method to save a text conversation on an
Android phone? (specifically, a Samsung Galaxy S8+, using the "Messages"
app, Version 10.1.51.75) I spent way too much time last night trying two
different apps, but failed. I only need one conversation saved, and I need
the document to include the day/time stamps.

The apps I tried:

* SMS Backup & Restore

* Legal Text Collector

(And yes, in case someone asks, I have already saved the whole thing as
several screenshots, but I am learning that it is much more acceptable in
the court context to save it as a seamless document with clear dates/times
for each entry.)


God help me if I need to get on with Verizon Tech Support. In my
experience, it could take hours, dealing with folks who truly don't know
the answer but pretend they do while putting you on hold forever, then
having to ask for someone in the US after I can't understand the English
attempts by the folks in the Philippines and/or India and wherever the heck
else they have their "Customer Service" these days. I know Verizon must
pinch pennies and about to go bankrupt and all, but...(Sorry, I know I am
ranting, but I hope some of you can relate and commiserate!)
