[Hidden-tech] Anyone with experience recovering an account from Dream host ??

Agreed. I would start by calling Dreamhost to see if they can simply pay 
the bill with their own credit card to get the site back up. Some hosts 
allow anyone to call in a cc to pay for the hosting, knowing this is 
sometimes an issue.
