Hi Bram, Yes, we actually use Digital Ocean for prototyping more complex systems we're developing before moving them to a dedicated server. The main problem I have with Digital Ocean, and based on reviews it's the same for all those instant VPS systems, is that we have no access to their infrastructure and so are completely dependent on their level of support. We've had instances where we've gone several hours without a response, which is untenable. With a server, we have very quick access to the infrastructure. Also, the storage space is expensive compared to SSD's on a server.
