If the content is just text, then it would be easier to locate a file utility that can simply comb the document for text, then copy and paste that into Word. The most critical aspect of this is actually the floppy drive you choose to use. Attempting to work with the old disks can be very tricky and they can be damaged (and data lost) fairly easily. Unfortunately I can't recommend specific floppy drive brands, etc., but that is the first hurdle, followed by trying to read and copy files from the disk, followed by the actual process of extracting text.
