[Hidden-tech] Social Media for HT

Hi

For some reason I had to really dig to find the original post. I’m
with the anti-FB people. I use it for a closed group I have and it’s
awful for finding things.

HT works well enough for me - but that’s because I use MailMate and
have a smart filter that throws all emails into a folder where I can
view, peruse and respond according to my interest/energy. I can see how
it could not be useful for others as a email in an inbox.

I think, if Rich and others are up to it, it would be interesting to
have an alternative social media to use. I didn’t see [Discourse
](https://www.discourse.org/) on the list Rich created. I’ve had my
eye on it as an alternative to my FB group.

My two cents.
Annamarie
