If you have Chrome (or any other app) zoomed to full screen, you will see the sliding. This will also happen if you have Chrome is a separate "Space" (or newer-and-less-helpful "Desktop" nomenclature). 1. Quit Chrome (not just close its windows) 2. Right click Chrome in the Dock > Options, and make sure None is checked under Assign To 3. Go into one of the other apps that behaves the way you want, then launch Chrome. It should now live in the same space as the others. Let me know if this works! > On Aug 19, 2020, at 2:30 PM, Deborah Chandler via Hidden-discuss <hidden-discuss at lists.hidden-tech.net> wrote: > > Hi folks, > > I have an issue that just started yesterday, I believe. My Chrome window is sliding to the right, off the screen, when I toggle to other apps, like Signal, WhatsApp and Preview. And when toggling back to those apps, they are sliding on and off the screen, too. It seems when I am toggling amongst those other apps, and Chrome isn't involved, this problem isn't happening, they stay put. > > I am running Mac OS Mojave, 10.14.6 and Chrome says, "Google Chrome is up to date > Version 84.0.4147.135 (Official Build) (64-bit)" > > Thanks in advance for suggestions on how to fix this.
