[Hidden-tech] Mac OS question

Dear Hidden-Techers,
After updating to the mojave OS, I have been unable to use certain software
(notably indesign and final cut pro). I am considering "downgrading" to a
previous operating system so that I can continue to use these programs
without re-buying them or starting a monthly subscription. Does anyone have
experience with this or have a recommendation for which OS to revert back
to? Other workarounds? Our version of indesign is CS4 (2009) and works fine
for our needs.
