Hi Marcia, I've used Vanilla Gift Cards, whcih have the VISA logo. They're available at CVS and other stores, maybe WalMart. I think there's a $5. activation fee for up to $500. It's like cash, and can be used for just about every transaction within the US. Not eligible for international transactions.
