[Hidden-tech] Gaia Host has gone AWOL

Hi Anne,

She should call GoDaddy support and explain the situation, typically she 
will need to supply a photo of her ID and some proof that the business 
is hers (the fact that it points to her website will help). I would 
suggest she first create a GoDaddy account and ask for the domain to be 
transferred to that account otherwise it's a transfer between registrars 
which is a lot more complicated and also it helps if GoDaddy thinks 
you're going to remain a customer. Then once the domain has transferred 
she can transfer it away from GoDaddy if she'd like - there's a 60 day 
waiting period after you make any changes to the registration information.

Never allow someone else, especially a business that might go away, to 
own your domain name!
