Gordon, Short answer, it's probably not a simple fix. If you fix the redirect in .htaccess, you will probably make the 'redirect' loop you are seeing worse. 2 places to start looking: - Make sure your menu definitions are proper -- you might need to redefine them in the menu builder - get a URL fixing plugin -- like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/mpress-fix-url-references/ Here are an articles discussing the issue, that talks about another fixup plugin http://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/how-to-update-urls-when-moving-your-wordpress-site/ I would not recommend you trying to fix the database references yourself, it is messy even for a mysql expert, hence the plugins I would also recommend, using this to confirm all is good once done: https://wordpress.org/plugins/broken-link-checker/ You will probably get some emails from HT experts in WP - you might consider having someone work with you on this. Also, check the local Wordpress groups on Meetup.com --- a number of WP pros not on HT are there.
