[Hidden-tech] Low-radiation headset for cellphone

Hi Deborah,

Sorry you are struggling with this. I don’t have personal experience with
headsets but am in regular contact with quite a few people who are dealing
with similar issues and a consistent recommendation for minimum headset
exposure is an “air tube headset.” You can find these and a lot of other
shielding-type solutions (including phone shields and router guards) at
lessemf.com <http://www.lessemf.com> and other places.

Of course, maximizing use of corded landlines, speakerphone and not
carrying the phone on your body unless it’s off or in airplane mode are
also consistently mentioned as exposure reduction measures.

Another product that I have not tried personally but has been recommended
is a low-radiation wi-fi router available here:

https://www.jrselectrohealth.com/pcat/low-radiation-wifi-routers-jrs-eco-wifi/

There are also routers with on/off switches for the wi-fi. There is a link
for one from netgear in this article about the health risks of the xfinity
system <https://www.emfanalysis.com/why-is-xfinity-wifi-harming-people/>.

Personally, we have gone the “energetic/quantum” route (as opposed to
shielding) partly because my wife’s sensitivity to wireless is to the point
where it’s not about reducing exposure to our personal devices but to
electrosmog generally speaking and we didn’t want to try and shield our
house (but know others who have done so successfully). There are now quite
a few players in this space and we recommend not purchasing anything that
does not come with a money back guarantee.

We now work as consultants for the company that was recommended to us at a
clinic specializing in electro-hypersensitivity in Switzerland and offer
no-obligation, free consultation and measurement services for homes and
businesses. The relevant product for smart phones is called a “biopatch.”

There will also be a “syrup tasting and measure your device night
<http://ptco.org/syrup/syrup-in-the-community/>” at Green Fields Market
coming up on 3/10 in anticipation of our SYRUP: One Sweet Performing Arts
Festival <http://www.ptco.org/shows/syrup> on March 18.

Hope this helps and that you feel better soon!! On the brighter side, most
of the 20 – 30% of the population experiencing “moderate” symptoms from
exposure like headaches, insomnia, fatigue, tinnitus, etc. are being
misdiagnosed so your having narrowed it down is fortunate.

Jon

P.S. There are two bills (S.19 and S.88) coming up for votes in the U.S.
Senate that would strip towns of their ability to make wireless zoning
decisions and put small cell antennas (5G) in front of every 3 – 10 houses.
More on that on this EMF resource page <http://www.ptco.org/emf> in the
“5G” section. Sorry if this is more info than you were looking for!
