[Hidden-tech] HIPPA Compliant

I'm an attorney who handles medical records under HIPAA quite a lot. Most
doctors and hospitals prefer fax, express mail, fedex, or other "hard copy"
type transmissions.  Not sure whether this helps answer your question. None
of the providers I deal with will send anything by regular email, though
once in awhile I do get an email link to a secure log-in portal to download
records from their sites. Similar precautions obtain when transmitting PID,
such as social security numbers, bank account numbers, and the like.
