Thanks to all of you. I am primarily using CHrome and I was able to get to the passwords, and found many that were useful. But when I searched for gmail ( and facebook) , and they didn't come up at all. I also opened Firefox, which doesn't seem to have it saved, but I have an older version 50.1.0 I guess, and couldn't even get to the tools/privacy feature.
