Having many friends into guns, Massachusetts has a law where you can't
buy guns online. You should have this person look into Massachusetts
law. They could have an online gun store but then not sell to anyone
from the following states which also ban online gun sales: *CA, CT, MA,
NJ, NY

It seems that the major issue is positively identifying the purchaser, so if they have to pick up the gun in person and are deemed responsible enough to own it, then they can be held responsible for how it is used. I would feel comfortable if that were the process everywhere.

This should not become a conversation thread here, because it's obviously a bit controversial. What I'm hoping is anyone with a strong feeling either way just reply to me directly with a calm, short email positing their position. You may or may not get a reply from me, but I will read every email sent.
