Tom, I would suspect that Word (at least the pre-docx. version) could
open that old file, which means Excel might be able to as well. Either
way, you could save as Excel spreadsheet or tab-delimited table and
open it in any db you want. In the Open dialog box, the default is to
open Word documents. Change that to Open Any File.
