Tom -- Grubba is a flat-file system - as far as I can tell, if you're going to go that way, you might as well use Google spreadsheets. Exporting out of Filemaker is easy -- just save as a CSV (comma separate values) file, and you'll be able to import to Excel, Google, or any other database out there. If you can't open your file, I have a new copy of Filemaker (I use it both locally, and with a hosted version -- worldcloud.com -- that's just $12 a month that my users can access via the web). I might be able to open your file and save it as a CSV file for you. -- Maria ____________________________________________________ Maria Korolov • 508-443-1130 • maria at tromblyinternational.com President, *Trombly International <http://www.tromblyinternational.com/> * • *"We know the emerging markets."* On Tue, Mar 26, 2013 at 6:49 AM, Shel Horowitz <shel at principledprofit.com>wrote: > ** Be sure to fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > Tom, I would suspect that Word (at least the pre-docx. version) could > open that old file, which means Excel might be able to as well.
