Mount Holyoke College is seeking a Lab Manager/Instructor to support the computer science department in its teaching and research endeavors. The position comprises Lab Manager and Instructor responsibilities along with traditional Sysadmin responsibilities. This 12-month full-time position will be focused on Lab Management/Instruction during the semester, when students are on campus, and Sysadmin responsibilities (e.g., preparing lab computers and student accounts) prior to each semester. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in a small and vibrant department that is creating innovative technology projects powered by talented undergraduate students!

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Advanced degree preferred. Sysadmin experience with Mac OSX or UNIX. Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, listening, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Creativity, flexibility and a passion for supporting a collaborative environment of faculty, staff and undergraduate students.
