Interactive Media Developer & Technical Assistant 

Looking to apply your technical skills to meaningful work? Monadnock Media, a multimedia design and production firm that specializes in media exhibits for museums, is hiring. We're looking for a creative person to help us develop and program multimedia experiences and mobile applications, as well as perform some IT and database management. 




Helpful skills: 

Experience with Actionscript/Java/Lua/Python, or similar programming/scripting languages. 

Familiarity with A/V hardware, signal flow and troubleshooting. 

Some familiarity with audio and video codecs and software. 

Specific knowledge of Mac and Windows-based environments. 

General networking knowledge. 



Knowledge of the following a plus (not required): 

Object-oriented programming conventions. 

Database programming and management. 

Experience with Network administration and architecture. 

Video compression and transcoding. 

Microcontroller/PLC programming. 

C++ or similar mid-level languages. 

Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, and After Effects.
