[Hidden-tech] using unlocked, GSM Blackberry 8820 in Europe

All BlackBerry devices have texting built in.  No extra software needed.
BlackBerry Messenger is not for texting.  It's a proprietary system that
only works with other users that have it installed. On your older device
texting may be called SMS.
