[Hidden-tech] Small biz cloud storage

I'm looking for a cloud storage solution so that a business partner (who is located in Boston) and I can share files. There are a lot of options out there and I was wondering if anyone had experiences they could share.

Things I'm looking for:

- mountable harddrive options (not just web-based)
- Mac and Windows compatibility
- only needs to serve two users for now, maybe double that in a year of so
- need assurances of secure storage (encryption/etc)
- doesn't have to be free, but I'd like to keep the price below
- I'm aware of Google's options in this area but for know I don't want to go that way
