I had Health New England for several years and had no problems. Then, 2 years ago when I was trying to save a few bucks, I went with a cheaper option, Fallon. BIG mistake. I had nothing but problems with them. They even tried to change my primary care doctor to one in Gardner without ever telling me! It happened twice! They kept saying it was a computer error. And they were relentless about prior approvals for everything, which Health New England is not. You do not have to get a referral to a specialist with Health New England. Needless to say, I have now switched back to them.
