[Hidden-tech] Looking for swing dance space

Hi,

A friend is looking for a space to hold a swing dance once a month on
Mondays starting in March. (This dance just happened last night at The Fix,
but now they’re closing.)

The requirements/ideal factors are:

• Smooth wooden floor
• approx. 500 sq. ft.
• For approx. 50-60 people.
• Access from 7-11pm
• Access to a bathroom
• Don’t need a kitchen, but food allowed
• Don’t need sound system, will provide
• In greater Northampton area
• Convenient to Rte. 91 (no more than 10 minutes from it ideally)
• If above ground floor, have elevator access
• Easy convenient parking
• Reasonable cost (amount negotiable)

Possible spaces:
• (Fitzwilly’s space is an option but parking and 3 flights of stairs is a
problem)
• Dance halls and dance studios
• Bars, restaurants, cafes. It’s fine if there are others there while
dancing, and some dancers will likely buy food and beverages...
• VFW, WWII, American Legion and other similar group spaces.
• Schools and gymnasiums
