Pretty sure they are not actually in your cell phone, they are on 
verizon's server.

AFACT, best bet is either the aforementioned speakerphone or the verizon 
dvd service.

Or maybe you could retrieve your voicemail with some sort of PC-based 
VoIP service and record the session.
