[Hidden-tech] TETHER.com et al, using cell phone as modem

If you're phone has bluetooth, then all you need is some information to 
setup in the Mac Network dialer for Bluetooth... (Oh, and the proper 
plan with the provider, and a phone that isn't locked down from doing 
this like some "smart" phones are).

Customer service usually has no idea what you are calling about if you 
ask for this info.

The info usually depends on the type of phone you are using to connect 
with.

First you need to setup for phone as a bluetooth device and Pair it with 
your computer.

Here's a sample for standard Nokia handset and the Mac Bluetooth network 
dialer atih AT&T:

"Telephone Number": Usually something like *99***91#
Account Name: Usually something generic like: ISP at CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: Usually something generic like: CINGULAR1
