[Hidden-tech] audio recording software for Mac

Hi Fern et al,
My $0.02 is that I personally found the Zoom H2/H4 to be maddeningly un-easy
to use, sometimes stumping several of us at once, all musicians and folks
used to working with small machines, and yielding no recording of whatever
event we all were attending/playing at. I love my Sony D-50, bought new a
couple years ago for around $500 (Sony D1 also great but 4x cost)--easy UI,
great sound, built solid (unlike the cheap-feeling H2/H4.

The Zoom unit seemed to sound decent, but using it drove me nuts enough to
return it within a month.

Editing afterwards, sadly, I can offer no help with--but my ears are tuned
to the responses here!

Good luck and happy recording,

Adam
