[Hidden-tech] lacie extreme disk error messages

I think we should consider a Hidden Tech event specifically re: data backup. While boring, it's very important to our businesses and lives.

I sure wish there was a simple solution. I'm constantly backing up to external drives and to cloud storage. There's no seamless solution in my experience.
