This device works without any additional software on OSX 10.6, which has built-in support for WWAN EVDO devices. I haven't had a chance to test this device on 10.5, although the GPRS/EDGE modems work fine on 10.5 without installing anything. When I first attached the USB760, it presented me with the "VZAccess Manager" software to install. The interface behaved unreliably and eventually stopped working altogether -- until I completely removed Verizon's software. Apple recommends that you NOT install any carrier's connection manager when using these devices. -- Roger Williams <roger at qux.com> Chief Technical Officer, Qux Corporation 433 West Street, Suite 8, Amherst, MA 01002, USA Tel +1 413 253-6400 * Fax +1 508 302-0230 * GSM +1 508 287-1420
