I'll second the opinion that GoDaddy's name-drop service (www.TDNAM.com) works well and fills an important niche. They let you get in for a cheap bid. (Enom's ClubDrop used to, but no more.) Other drop-catchers start at about $60. There are plenty of names that are worth $20 but not $60, and TDNAM's the way to go. (But for names that are worth way more than $60, I still use SnapNames or NameJet, et.al.)
