I'm not sure if GoDaddy's full backups support this, or your reseller account, but you might be able to do a full CPanel backup from GoDaddy and restore onto your reseller account. Check to see if the email accounts seem to have moved over with content, if so, ask the client to verify it worked before you switch the domain over to your reseller. You could also use an MX entry to keep the mail host at GoDaddy while the web hosting switches over to your reseller account. I believe GoDaddy's domain control panel can handle that if they are keeping the domain there. They should do the full backup to a desktop client, as well, if the email is important to them.
