[Hidden-tech] Moving hosting but saving e-mail?

Anne,

There is no technical reason that the email couldn't remain hosted at
GoDaddy while their web site is hosted somewhere else (there are
separate DNS entries for mail and web). Or does the client want to stop
using GoDaddy for email as well? Assuming they are happy with the email
service, they should be able to keep that, and let you manage the web
side. Assuming they bought their domain through GoDaddy as well, it
should be quite easy to point the web part at your new hosting location
and leave the rest of it alone.
