aside from the corny name, MailChimp is quite good.  We've done a lot of 
API integration a number of the names on your list and MailChimp has 
been one of the better one.  They do let you pull names from an external 
data source - your own CRM database for example.

Take a look at  www.delivra.com

ultimately it depends a lot on the size of your list - 100s, 1000s, 
10,000s, GT 100,000
