Dear HT, Here¹s the next piece in my IT puzzle, scanning, storing/filing & retrieval. In an effort to have a low paper office (not quite paperless), I need to scan stuff, save it, and then be able to retrieve it. Searching within embedded PDF text is a bonus. I¹ve found a program that purports to do just this, DevonThink Pro Office (about $115 w/discount.) Devon says it works well with a Fujitsu Scansnap s510m (for Mac.) Related to hardware service, has anyone tried GreenUmbrella.com for comprehensive extended warranties on ALL electronics you own? If anyone has experience with this software or similar, I¹d appreciate learning from you.
