[Hidden-tech] Back-up for macbook online, cloud, etc.

Another friend has mentioned Solid State Drives (SSD) as a possibility for
the manual backup (instead of a regular external hard drive or tapes) but
that this technology Œmay not be there yet¹ in terms of price.  For example,
OCZ makes a 128GB unit available for $523 with 1.5MM hour life span, a 250GB
unit should be available soon.  It looks like an internal drive but even if
so, can it be used as an external drive?
