[Hidden-tech] a question for HT futurists

Here are three:

Residential farmer - sustainably farms plots of land around homes - formerly
known as lawns and public areas - formerly parking lots and highways. This
is happening today with the test wheat plantings around the valley and the
de-paving movement which removes paving and restores earth (e.g.
http://depave.org).

Dyker - perhaps you thought this was an old Dutch name. The dutch have Dykes
because they are flat and have reclaimed the sea. Now everyone will need
them built by someone, since global warming is bringing the sea inland.

Green Police - once there is so little fossil fuel to light and heat homes,
everyone will be required for once to conserve energy. There will eventually
be inspectors who make sure your home is green and efficient or else! This
will be done by special green inspectors, because there will not be enough
power - even if you are rich.

Hi all,

	I know quite a few of you love to speculate about the future, so
here's one for anyone who wants to take a stab and help me with a national
magazine piece.

	I need to come up with five jobs of the future -- say 10 to 15 years
out. This can be any field, but we know that technology will touch them all,
from medicine to farming.

	Feel free to post ideas to the list for fun. If you want to
