[Hidden-tech] Troubleshooting Comcast

Hi,

As you may have recently experienced, since mid-day last Saturday Comcast
has been having some trouble with upstream internet traffic and specifically
packet losses between to offices on the east coast. As of this morning it
seems to be partially resolved. 

In this last outage, I did some research on troubleshooting these issues.
Below are some links that can help the more technically minded with
troubleshooting Comcast connections. Some of these links may require a valid
Comcast email account to view the information.

Useful link when dealing with Comcast:

Comcast Network Status (This link will give you some vague information as to
the status of their networks. But there is not historical information of
failure and resolutions.)

Local Cable Modem Status (If you have a Comcast cable modem you can use this
to see your cable modem status and the link below it to interpret the
values.
