I am aware that www users expect a lot of free content. But some content is
hard to come by, even if one tries to aggregate it from other sites. At
Videatives we supply content to one profession, educators working with young
children. We do use free content (including streaming video) in our biweekly
newsletter Videatives Views (click here to see example) that serves to educate
our customer base on how we add value to digital video clips of children at work
and play in school settings. We then sell the video clips, plus our
analysis, for approx. $8 that includes a single users license and for $25 for a full
distribution license. Click here for an example. In September we are
launching a video streaming service that will use a subscription fee model. We are
in the process of figuring out various ways to package and price this service.

Let me know if you would like to talk more about what we are doing.

Ciao,
George
