Japan's very long term storage problem became very near term just last july.

but it was a very small amount of radioactive material that went into
the ocean, and there has been absolutely no damage to the environment i
was pleased to hear. thats all i need to hear to set my mind at ease,
how about you?
anyhow, there are a couple of other choices:
if you are not in a position to do your own renewables, you can do
something like this for a little more cost on your current bill
http://www.massenergy.com/Green.Why.Choose.html
im not sure if you can do this with wmeco automatically but i think
theres still a way, if not automatically like with mass electric
(massenergy can tell you).
it costs a little extra but ~50% of the premium is tax deductible.
If you're just looking to save money, (or perhaps really need to), I
think Andy's choices are accurate: which to be responsible for?
Unfortunately business and our government have a history of making
energy choices based on the same criteria, whats cheaper today?
