Jeff, This is the Blackberry sync tool for Macintosh: http://www.pocketmac.net/products/pmblackberry/ I haven't used it recently but apparently it does now sync e-mail. But I don't know if it really does sync and exactly how this works. You'd use this tool if you're using the basic standalone "webconnect" version of Blackberry e-mail. You should know that regardless of your computing platform, with this version of Blackberry e-mail what it does it push a copy of your e-mail out to your Blackberry device wirelessly but doesn't sync. In other words, if you delete an e-mail on your Blackberry, that e-mail won't be deleted from your desktop computer. The basic webconnect version of Blackberry e-mail only pushes e-mail. It does not sync calendars etc., all which must be synced by cable or bluetooth between your computer and your Blackberry. I imagine that this same cable or bluetooth process is how PocketMac syncs e-mail. Again, take a look at their website to confirm. In contrast, if you're using the enterprise version of Blackberry e-mail with a Blackberry Enterprise Server sitting on top of an Exchange (or other) server, mail, contacts, calendar etc are synced wirelessly and it doesn't matter if you're using a Mac or a PC. -- Joseph www.steig.com On 11/21/07, Jeff Rutherford <jeff at jeffrutherford.com> wrote: > > ** The author of this post was a Good Dobee. > ** You too can help the group > ** Fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. > ** If you did, we all thank you. > > > > Is anyone on the list using a Blackberry phone with a Mac? > Will Blackberry sync seamlessly with a Mac - or do you have to use Windows > Exchange Server? > > I'm interested in anyone's experiences using a Blackberry with a Mac - > especially syncing email.
