I don't own Dell's, but I've worked on my share of them over the past 
couple of years.  I have to concur regarding tech support.  When I've 
worked with them, they've been very good.  Sometimes they've been overly 
diligent, requiring a couple of hours of troubleshooting before they 
came to the same conclusion I'd already come to (that's a bit 
maddening), but when they've needed to send someone out on an extended 
warranty situation, they've been just amazing.  Similarly, when they've 
had to ship a part, they've been spot on and speedy.  I think they get a 
bad rap, to be honest.  I think people expect far more out of them than 
they have a right to expect.
