David,

If someone subscribes to your blog, they get the new blog entry as soon as
you "post" it. Well, as soon as their RSS reader refreshes that is.

I currently do both a e-newsletter and a blog. I find they actually serve
different purposes. For example, your newsletter is not going to be indexed
by search engines, where your blog most likely will. Your blog will help
drive traffic to your website.

Hi folks...

What are the pros, cons and mechanics of Blogs vs. Newsletters /
Lists. I understand how a newsletter run from an autoresponder works.
I'm new to the Blogoshpere.

For example... if someone 'subscribes' to a blog how are they
notified of new posts?

Thanx.
David
