Hi Jean, take a look at SocialText: http://www.socialtext.com/ also MediaWiki (most popular and pretty easy to use) http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki also check out PBWiki (which is the app that all the FooCamp/Unconferece folks use and like) http://pbwiki.com/ All offer tours and tutorials. you may want to list out the features you will need for your wiki'ing first. Most will have features where you will have to sign in before posting. "Locking" a wiki can be super-important. Ease of use can also be Very Important--depending on how media savvy your group happens to be, some might be initmidated about using a wiki at first, and one thing you *don't* want is people going into a panic before using a wiki. They are great places for collaboration. Give me a buzz if you'd like to discuss more :-) Tish G. blogging at: the Constant Observer 413-265-1500 Jean Graef <jean.graef at montague.com> wrote: ** The author of this post was a Good Dobee. ** You too can help the group ** Fill out the survey/skills inventory in the member's area. ** If you did, we all thank you. We are investigating wikis as a way of sharing & editing information with both internal staff and external clients & partners. We have some experience with a product called ProjectForum. It's pretty nice -- easy to install, easy to use, cross-platform. Can anyone recommend other options we should look at? We looking for something that will handle 10 - 12 groups.
