I've used Social Text a couple of times. It's not flawless, but it certainly does the job. We had a about a dozen writers collaborating and it provided a nice outlet for the editor to post information and for the writers to react to it and in some cases vote on it. It's not very pretty in terms of layout (but most wikis aren't). You may also want to look at iUpload. They have done a lot with corporate blogging, although they may be more high-end then you need.
