RTC announces digital marketing seminars for 2007:

Blogs, Podcasts and Webinars, Oh My!

Springfield, MA - January 2, 2007 - The Regional Technology Corporation
(RTC) is pleased to announce that its Technology Enterprise Council
(TEC) network will be holding a series of five seminars throughout 2007
focused on digital marketing. The title of the series is "Blogs,
Podcasts and Webinars, Oh My!"

"This series will provide insight into these current and emerging Web
2.0 technologies and demonstrate how you can use them to positively
impact your business," explained Ellen Bemben, RTC President. "The best
part is that you do not have to be a technology-based company to
leverage these cost effective technologies in order to gain a
competitive advantage," Bemben continued.

The first seminar, "Podcasting Basics" will be held on Friday, January
26th in the Tele-Classroom at STCC Technology Park in Springfield from
8:30 -10:00 a.m. The event is sponsored by Court Square Data Group,
Inc.

"Business marketing today is much less predictable and hierarchical with
rapid change, broad availability and wide distribution of information as
the norm," notes Gordon Snyder, Director, National Center for
Telecommunications Technologies and the new Chairman of the TEC network.
"Traditional marketing methods, while still effective, limit exposure in
a world where online channels play an important role," said Snyder.
Snyder will provide the training in this series.

Web 2.0 based solutions are being used for training, all aspects of
marketing including advertising, public relations and building brand
equity as well as other types of corporate information transfer.
Technologies being presented in this educational series will include
audio and video podcasting, blogging, subscription and search marketing,
webinars and wikis.

"One of the missions of the RTC is to bring new technologies that can
improve the way we do business to the attention of our members and the
business community as a whole. This seminar series is an excellent
example of doing just that," continued Bemben.

The Podcasting Basics seminar will cover compelling business reasons to
start a podcast as well as basics including software, content designs
and marketing techniques. Attendees will leave with the basic knowledge
and tools necessary to get their first podcast posted and available.

The January 26th event is FREE to RTC members and $20 to non-members.
Seating is limited. Advanced registration is required. Contact April
Cloutier at acloutier at rtccentral.com to register.
