[Hidden-tech] Rudy on Rails

I've heard great things about RoR and may switch to it whole hog in a year's time, depending on how my business goes. It looks like I could re-write my hosted application in a very short time using this framework, and make it faster (it pays to have hundreds of trained, expert programmers building your blocks instead of one self-taught hack) and much cooler with the built-in AJAX and other neat tools. Plus, hosting it would be much cheaper.

My best friend is an expert web programmer (Perl/HTML/CSS/databases/Ajax/etc.), and since he switched from Perl to Ruby, he thinks Ruby on Rails is the best thing since sliced bread.
