[Hidden-tech] Video editing software?

you might be able to do this all with freeware ...but it's similar to  
ME asking if I should offer a 4 hour presentation on the spiritual  
revitalization of dogs...something I know a little about BUT definitely  
NOT something I should try to pursue  without assistance...

It's a tough thing with technology becoming so affordable and  
accessible ... tempting for people who are curious, intelligent and  
able... but it makes us all go in very different directions...wearing  
many different hats... when only one hat usually fits comfortably...

how's that for bad metaphors...
