This is hard to find in Massachusetts, I believe in part because the
legislature mandates insurance policies cover some items (mental health,
etc).

The best deal I could find was $620/month for catastrophic coverage for
my family with Mid-West National Life.

But be very careful--a friend with the exact same coverage, had a baby
that required a lot of hospital care, and he ended up $250,000 in the
hole. The fine print can be tricky. In retrospect, it would have been a
wise investment to have hired an insurance agent to help me. (My wife
now has a job that provides insurance.)
