And to expand a little further- Most lower cost cordless phones operate on the same frequency as wireless (802.11b/g)- they are both on 2.4 Ghz, and while theoretically the devices should seek out different channels within that frequency, the reality is that there is often interference. Trying a cordless phone that operates at 5.8 Ghz may very well fix the problem. Cheers!
